Clarity for a Smooth Journey
Great design starts with a great plan. Before we dive into the creative work, we’ll outline the scope of the project in a way that keeps everything transparent and stress-free.
Once we’ve refined your vision, we’ll move into the design phase. This is where my dedicated design service begins, and we turn ideas into structured plans.
For fully bespoke projects, we’ll arrange an in-person meeting to discuss your must-haves, style preferences, and practical needs. If architectural drawings are available, we’ll go through them together. If not, I will carry out a detailed site survey to take accurate measurements.
For E-Design projects, as everything is done remotely, I won’t be able to visit the site to take measurements. Instead, I will ask you to provide a scaled floor plan of your space. I will guide you through the process of taking measurements.
Concept and detailed design
sTAGE 1
This stage is all about functionality—designing a layout that enhances how you live and move through your home. Using the collected details, I create a white model of the space with two– three layout options, mapping out doors, windows, built-ins, and key furniture pieces. Designing in both scale and 3D allows us to refine the flow, correct potential design challenges early, avoiding costly mistakes during construction. This also ensures that furniture and key elements are perfectly proportioned, creating a balanced, well-organised space.
STAGE 2
With the layout finalised, we shift focus to the finer details that bring your space to life. I carefully select every element, from fixtures and finishes to lighting and furniture, ensuring a seamless blend of aesthetics and function. If needed, I also design bespoke pieces tailored to your style.
To help you visualise the design with confidence, I refine the concept using 3D modelling, allowing you to see every detail before anything is set in motion. To ensure a smooth execution, I provide a comprehensive project package with a detailed specification document for contractors, along with a sourcing list of all selected materials furniture, and finishes, making the procurement process seamless and organised.
sTAGE 3
If you have chosen the fully bespoke service, I will be closely involved throughout this phase, working alongside trusted suppliers and contractors to ensure every element is executed to the highest standard. I will also take care of sourcing and purchasing the selected materials, furniture, and finishes.
Regular site visits allow me to oversee progress, address any questions that arise, and make adjustments when necessary. My hands-on approach ensures that the design intent is maintained throughout the process, so nothing is left to chance. The final stage is all about precision, ensuring that every detail aligns with the original vision and, most importantly, exceeds your expectations.
